About Snowflakes:

Most snowflakes have six sides. Some have twelve, but you will never find an eight-sided snowflake!

A snowflake is not a frozen rain-drop. A snowflake is an ice crystal that forms out of water vapor in the air. It takes about fifteen minutes for the snowflake to form as it falls to earth. There are many different shapes of snowflakes. The painted snowflakes in Snow are mostly Stellar snowflakes which look like trees, and Plate snowflakes which are flat like plates.
